What "distribution" means here
Under New Zealand's Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, every Financial Advice Provider (FAP) must publish a Public Disclosure Statement under section 431 covering — among other things — the product providers they are appointed to distribute. FinanceAdvisersNZ mirrors these PDSes and parses the product-panel section into structured data so that comparison across FAPs becomes possible.
Being on a FAP's product panel does not mean the FAP exclusively recommends that provider — most FAPs distribute a small set of providers per product category and recommend within that set based on client suitability. It does mean the FAP has a commercial arrangement (commission, share of fees, or other consideration) with the provider that consumers should understand before engaging.
How to use this page
If you want a New Zealand financial adviser who can advise on Accuro products, this list narrows your choice to 18 FAPs. Click through to a FAP's profile page to read their full disclosure statement, see fee structure, and view conflict-of-interest disclosures before making contact.
If you want the opposite question — "what products does my adviser's FAP distribute?" — go to your adviser's profile and read the Distribution Panel section.
Methodology, freshness, and limits
- Source: Mirror of FAP Public Disclosure Statements filed under FMC Act 2013 s431. We are not the publisher of any PDS — we mirror what each FAP has made public.
- Extraction: Product-provider names are extracted from PDS markdown by Claude (LLM-extracted, confidence tier C). For original wording, refer to each FAP's own publication via the FSPR register entry linked from their profile page.
- Coverage: FinanceAdvisersNZ currently has PDS data on file for ~51 of ~521 NZ FAPs (10%). Coverage grows as we ingest more PDSes. A FAP not listed here may still distribute Accuro — we simply do not yet have their PDS in our corpus.
- Freshness: PDS data is re-checked quarterly. Each FAP profile page shows the version date of the PDS we have on file.
- Name normalisation: We do not currently normalise product-provider name variants (e.g. "ASB Bank" vs "ASB"). Future data-quality pass will collapse variants.

For data partners + B2B intelligence buyers
FinanceAdvisersNZ publishes the static state of NZ FAP product panels (this page) as free public data. For time-series intelligence — when FAPs add or remove a provider from their panel, market-share trend reports, cross-product panel queries, switching-event alerts, or bespoke market-entry research — contact hello@financeadvisers.co.nz.
