Under New Zealand's Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, every Financial Advice Provider (FAP) must publish a Public Disclosure Statement under section 431 covering — among other things — the product providers they are appointed to distribute. FinanceAdvisersNZ mirrors these PDSes and parses the product-panel section into structured data.

For this page, we filter network_edges_mv to the edges where Pacific Equity Partners (PEP) appears as a disclosed provider, resolve the FAPs at the from end of each edge, then enumerate the individual advisers currently appointed under each of those FAPs via the FSPR register.

Methodology + limits

  • Source: Mirror of NZ FAP Public Disclosure Statements filed under FMC Act 2013 s431, joined to the FSPR adviser–FAP appointment register.
  • Extraction: Product-provider names are extracted from PDS markdown by Claude (LLM-extracted, confidence tier C). Name variants are collapsed via a hand-curated alias list — see the parent /network/insurer/pacific-equity-partners-pep page for the canonical variants merged into this slug.
  • Scope (HARD): Being on a FAP's product panel does not mean every adviser at that FAP personally advises on Pacific Equity Partners (PEP). Individual advisers may be scoped to a subset of their FAP's panel depending on licensing and specialty. This page lists everyone whose FAP-wide disclosure includes Pacific Equity Partners (PEP), not advisers verified to personally advise on it.
