Advisers at FAPs that disclose Over 30 banks and lenders (unnamed)

How this list is built

Under New Zealand's Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, every Financial Advice Provider (FAP) must publish a Public Disclosure Statement under section 431 covering — among other things — the product providers they are appointed to distribute. FinanceAdvisersNZ mirrors these PDSes and parses the product-panel section into structured data.

For this page, we filter network_edges_mv to the edges where Over 30 banks and lenders (unnamed) appears as a disclosed provider, resolve the FAPs at the from end of each edge, then enumerate the individual advisers currently appointed under each of those FAPs via the FSPR register.

Methodology + limits

• Source: Mirror of NZ FAP Public Disclosure Statements filed under FMC Act 2013 s431, joined to the FSPR adviser–FAP appointment register.
• Extraction: Product-provider names are extracted from PDS markdown by Claude (LLM-extracted, confidence tier C). Name variants are collapsed via a hand-curated alias list — see the parent /network/insurer/over-30-banks-and-lenders-unnamed page for the canonical variants merged into this slug.
• Scope (HARD): Being on a FAP's product panel does not mean every adviser at that FAP personally advises on Over 30 banks and lenders (unnamed). Individual advisers may be scoped to a subset of their FAP's panel depending on licensing and specialty. This page lists everyone whose FAP-wide disclosure includes Over 30 banks and lenders (unnamed), not advisers verified to personally advise on it.
• Coverage: FinanceAdvisersNZ has PDS data on file for ~107 of ~2,444 NZ FAPs (~4.5%) as of 2026-06-01. A FAP not listed here may still distribute Over 30 banks and lenders (unnamed) — we simply do not yet have their PDS in our corpus.
